Internships

A For-Credit Internship can be obtained by all students once they have earned 60 credit hours. In order to receive academic credit, the student MUST complete the internship application, follow all guidelines and procedures, and obtain all signatures by the deadlines indicated below. Credit will not be awarded to students who did not follow and complete the application process. Credit will not be awarded retroactively. Announcements

High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau is announcing the launch of the Market Ambassador Program which is available to 10 highly competitive candidates from High Point University.

The purpose of this program is to enhance the experience of our visitors during the High Point Market. Our Market Ambassador’s would be equipped with all necessary information, technology and clothing. The Ambassadors will be found on foot in areas of high pedestrian activity, assisting with any particular needs our visitors might need. In return, the students will receive quality experience and insight of working during the furniture market and would have access into Market as well as, the entertainment and will be paid hourly.

To participate in the Market Ambassador Program you will need to complete the attached application form.
