This is the culmination of your educational work. Getting the job! We encourage you to work just as hard at identifying potential employers, making the contacts, and following through as you did for any class project.
There are some basic steps to be taken: - Establish a target date for getting a job - Determine how much time you can devote to your search - Review all search strategies including online, networking, career fairs, etc. - Follow up quickly with any opportunities that come to you - Have your résumé and cover letters available - Always follow up interviews with thank-you letters
